How Percentages affect our daily lives
Hi Kids,
You must be wondering why we are learning Percentages.
Here is a good example.
For GST-registered hotel and F&B operators, GST is charged on the sum of:
# Price of the goods and services; and
# 10% service charge
(Extracted from http://www.iras.gov.sg/irasHome/page.aspx?id=2166)
Have fun learning!

Amendments to parallel WS for SA1 - part 2
Dear pupils,
yet another error! My sincere apologies for all the initial chaos and confusion. ^^
Set B
qn.4b) If there are 345 roses in the shop, NOT 342.
Anymore changes to the questions will be reflected in THIS POST from now on, so if you keep getting stuck, it may be a good idea to check back on this thread to see if there is any mistake with the question. (Erhem.. hopefully not!)
Once again, hope everyone stay flu-free!
Regards,
Mr Ng
